Jake and I have commented some on the return of the NFL, but have held back from getting too in depth in our preview. Well, the time has come to dive into the NFL. While the summer is a slow time for us, both in regards to posts and followers, football season always picks us up.
Tonight, we will be recording our first in the series of NFL Preview Podcasts. Here is a tentative schedule:
- Tonight: AFC East, AFC North, AFC South Preview
- Week of 13th - 19th: AFC West, NFC West, NFC South
- Week of 20th - 26th: NFC East, NFC North — we are wisely devoting only two divisions this day as we know we’ll get long winded on these two divisions.
- Week of 27th - 2nd: Fantasy Preview, McSpicys/Pampered Ponies
- Week of 3rd: Predictions and…wait for it…WEEK ONE PODCAST! We’ll be sure to get this up by Tuesday the 6th at the latest, to ensure everybody has at least two days to listen before the opener on the 8th.
One other mention for our fellow Packer fans, NFL Network has announced that the America’s Game for the Super Bowl XLV Champion Green Bay Packers will premier on Wednesday, Sept 7th. America’s Game is the series that gives an hour show to each Super Bowl Champion and it has become a bit of a tradition to unveil the previous year’s champion right before the start of the next season. It is a fantastic product and I recommend them all, so obviously recommend the Packers version.
With football season approaching I’m looking forward to podcasts, betting posts, and general football excitement. In the words of Bart Scott…Can’t Wait!
